Professor Knight is an assistant professor with the George Mason University Forensic Science Program and also a STEM Accelerator. As a STEM Accelerator, she guides and mentors undergraduate students in the Forensic Science Program and coordinates K-12 STEM outreach including the Females of Color and those Underrepresented in STEM summer programs for middle and high school girls. She has such an interesting background and really impressive expertise in the challenging, dynamic field of forensic science, which encompasses many fields and disciplines related to the application of science to the law.We talk about what forensic science IS (and isn’t).
