Send it here.Title: In this episode of Tech Intersect, I reconnect with Cleve Mesidor, She is the founder and fearless leader of the National Policy Network of Women of Color in Blockchain, Policy Advisor to the Blockchain Association, and author of a memoir, The CLEVOLUTION. In episode 26, we had an authentic and empowering conversation about race, crypto, and financial inclusion. And we also explored the importance of the lessons of freedom from Juneteenth as context for the broader conversation of economic empowerment.  In this time around, we decided to capture our real time reflections on the bipartisan compromise to a crypto tax provision in the Senate’s $1 trillion infrastructure bill after a vote on Monday, August 9th.  U.S. Senators Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.) and Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) announced the compromise involving Democrats, Republicans and the Treasury Department earlier in the day, saying it would exempt crypto transaction validators from a broadened definition of “broker.”  One Senator stood in the way and blocked unanimous consent over an unrelated topic.
