Thinking that a relationship can simply be manifested, given, bought, etc., is ignoring the hard work that is needed to build one and maintain it.The AI-assistant has quickly turned into the AI-friend, AI-emotional companion, and now the AI-girlfriend/boyfriend. And the best part? They can be programmed physically and emotionally to whatever you prefer. Some are even based on real girls. But these paid subscriptions to digital people aren’t just digging your gold like real people, they are also digging your data.The companies making these things are clearly just predators exploiting loneliness and a cultural void. It’s bad enough men are simping to real girls, but now to digital ones?
