Technology as an Option

Our hard dependency on technology today makes it hard to think about other alternatives where humanity could survive without it. our dependency on technology today makes it a single point of failure where it's absence and it's faultiness could threaten the survival of the humankind. The competition in the tech market for building better, faster and smarter products has driven some engineers into working towards making their products more addictive without paying attention to what would happen to the consumers of these products if the product fails or malfunctions. In this episode I discuss an alternative or productizing technology where the customers survival and well-being in the absence of of technology is top priority. and therefore we come to the conclusion that every technological product out there should include educating it's consumers about how not to be addicted to it, and how to survive without it. The alternative might not be always easy, but it should be there and it should be available for the consumers to know what to do without it.
