Ted Lasso, Friends and LEGO: a troubling trend towards self and Satan

G'day friends!Have you ever had a Christian song play over and over on repeat in your head? A couple of months ago, ‘Almost Home’ played on loop in my mind throughout each day and it provided such comfort during especially intense times. Lately, ‘Great is thy faithfulness’ has been the first thought and song in my head as I’ve woken up each morning and it follows me deep into my morning walk as I listen to yet another of Charles Stanley’s sage sermons. Each song is a message of hope and of not being abandoned by our Heavenly Father.Today, as we step into Season Two of the Withstand Podcast, we’ll take a closer look at some others things that have been playing on repeat in my mind over the break – including my concern over the new tagline for a much-loved and long-standing toy brand.
