She launched her career early on in Calgary Alberta with Price Waterhouse Cooper but then moved to the Cayman Islands where she worked for 12 years in the hedge fund industry. She earned her CFA designation in 2000 and returned to Canada in 2008 to raise her growing family and shift her professional attention to real estate investment. She continues to invest in real estate and to relentlessly learn, pursue knowledge, and grow in all aspects of her life. Collen leverages her knowledge and experience as a financial professional and passionately believes financial education is essential knowledge that everyone should have access to.
