Teel Returns as Sox Catcher

Kyle Teel is back behind the plate for the White Sox after a 76-game absence due to hamstring and knee injuries, ready to crush it every day — and the team’s catching corps will feel the boost. With Edgar Quero sent down and Drew Romo struggling offensively and defensively, Teel’s return is a game-changer, especially with his electric energy and lineup impact. Manager Will Venable is thrilled — though they won’t play him seven days a week, the vibe is unmistakable. Meanwhile, All-Star hopes are dim for the Sox: no one’s close, except maybe Munetaka Murakami, who’s third at first base — and even he might miss the game due to injury. A rare chance for Murakami to shine, despite the odds. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
