Teen Accused in Glasgow Teen Death Trial | Glasgow News

In a gripping Glasgow trial, two teens face charges over the death of 15-year-old Amen Teklay in a March 2025 assault allegedly involving a sword and frying pan. The 17-year-old denies any contact with the victim, pointing to his prompt police cooperation and claiming he never intended to be involved. His defense challenges the prosecution’s narrative of a shared criminal plan, questioning witness credibility amid poor lighting and distance. The 16-year-old is accused of the fatal stabbing, while the 17-year-old insists he tried to stay out of the fight — urging the jury to believe his version as the trial heads toward a verdict.
