Teen Accused of Child Abuse in Norfolk | Virginia Beach News

A 19-year-old man in Norfolk, Virginia, faces serious felony charges after allegedly abusing two young siblings he was caring for — one hospitalized with broken bones, the other with bruises and belt marks. Arrested July 24, he’s held without bond as authorities investigate, with a preliminary hearing set for September 28. His attorney plans to appeal the no-bond ruling, while a supporter was jailed for contempt after an outburst — a stark reminder of the legal and moral weight of child care and courtroom decorum.
