Teen Accused of Killing Mother and Brother | Boston News

A chilling tragedy unfolded in Acton, Massachusetts, when a 17-year-old, Arjun Aravind, is charged with murdering his mother, Sudha Venkatesan, 45, and his 14-year-old brother, Siddharth. The incident occurred Tuesday night at their home after a tutor couldn’t enter and the father called authorities. Police later found Arjun inside his mother’s green 2014 Honda Accord in Wayland, which was pulled over during a separate call. He’s set to appear in court Thursday facing murder charges. The district attorney called it an “incredibly dark day,” and residents are reeling — one described it as “very scary to know this is happening right in our neighborhood.” Law enforcement is working to piece together what happened while offering community support amid the grief.
