Teen Carjacks Ford Maverick in LA Fitness Chase | Seattle News

A 22-year-old man is arrested after allegedly carjacking a man right outside an LA Fitness—yanking him from his brand new Ford Maverick before speeding off. Social media and auto theft pages helped track the stolen truck, leading detectives to spot it near Spanaway Lake Park. A high-speed chase through town ensued, ending with a PIT maneuver and a foot chase through backyards. The suspect, who already had outstanding warrants for escape and assault, now faces multiple new charges—including robbery and eluding police—thanks to the public’s help. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
