Teen Girl and Father Missing in Tragic Case | Durham News

A 14-year-old girl, accused of murdering her newborn sibling in a shocking twist, is now the focus of an Amber Alert alongside her alleged abuser — her 38-year-old father. Charged with lewd acts and child abuse, he’s been missing since August 4th, and authorities are racing to find both of them before tragedy unfolds. While prosecutors treat her as a victim of abuse, they’re also investigating her role in the infant’s death — all while keeping critical evidence under wraps. Her mother, arrested on child endangerment charges, stands apart from the case. Law enforcement urgently seeks to reunite the girl with safety and support, fearing she may be held against her will.
