Teen Killers Realize Their Secret Was Found Out | Case of Jordan Buckley & Jaden Churchheus

Teen Killers Realize Their Secret Was Found Out | Case of Jordan Buckley & Jaden ChurchheusOn September 2nd, 2019, emergency crews and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources responded to Hocking Hills State Park after reports that a woman had been struck by a falling tree or log. Upon arrival, they found 44-year-old Victoria Schafer deceased at the scene. Nearby lay a 75-pound, six-foot log that had struck her in the head, killing her instantly as she was taking photographs of highschoolers for their senior portraits.Firefighters examined the log and noted that it was old, with cut ends, suggesting it had not fallen naturally. As they secured the area above, they found similar logs on the ground and several sets of footprints. With these findings, the death was ruled suspicious, and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources requested assistance from the Hocking County Sheriff's Office.Witnesses reported seeing two or three teenage boys fleeing from the top of the cliff just after the log fell. A break in the case came when a local mother called a tip line, reporting that her daughter had received a text from a friend who admitted he had "done something serious at the park with another kid." This tip led detectives to two suspects: 16-year-olds Jordan Buckley and Jaden Churchheus. Investigators arranged interviews with both teens, beginning with Jordan, a conversation that was captured on the following bodycam footage.#policebodycams #bodycam #bodycamarrest #realbodycam #detectiveTrue Crime: The Court of Public Opinion Podcast:  Join the Podcast and dive deeper into the chaos of real-life crime with Alexis Knight!
