Teen Star Dowman Shines for Arsenal | Belfast News

Sixteen-year-old Max Dowman exploded onto the scene with a brace against Ipswich, helping Arsenal cruise to a 4-2 Carabao Cup win — and proving he’s more than just a promising talent. His first goal was a dazzling solo run after seven minutes, followed by a second right after halftime, making him only the second teen ever to score twice in a League Cup match — joining the legendary Wayne Rooney. Beyond goals, Dowman controlled possession, created chances, and earned high praise from Arteta for his relentless work ethic. Though Ipswich clawed back two late goals, Arsenal’s early dominance, powered by Dowman, sealed the victory — and solidified his status as a Premier League superstar-in-the-making.
