The word teen or teenage today is part of our lexicon, but that wasn’t the case less than 100 years ago. The post-World War II period in America was one of prosperity. Young adults didn’t have to go to work, high school attendance skyrocketed and teenagers developed their own culture - music, cars and clothes.
