TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES II: THE SECRET OF THE OOZE (1991) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch!

Vivian & Michael continue their journey with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, picking up with the heroes in a half shell as they face off against Shredder once again—this time uncovering the mysterious mutagen responsible for their origins. As new enemies emerge and the stakes rise, the film leans further into its lighter tone, blending action, comedy, and classic TMNT energy with expanded lore. This continued reaction stands out for its mix of nostalgia, humor, and franchise-building moments, as Vivian & Michael experience the sequel’s shift in tone, iconic lines, and fan-favorite elements in real time. Directed by Michael Pressman (Doctor Detroit, Blue Thunder TV series, Picket Fences, Chicago Hope, Law & Order), the film stars Paige Turco (The 100, Person of Interest, NCIS: New Orleans, American Gothic, Party of Five), David Warner (Titanic, Tron, Time Bandits, The Omen, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier), Ernie Reyes Jr. (Surf Ninjas, The Rundown, Rush Hour 2, Red Sonja, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), Kevin Nash (Magic Mike, The Longest Yard, John Wick, The Punisher, Rock of Ages), and François Chau (Lost, The Expanse, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, Rush Hour, Birds of Prey), bringing together a cast tied to action films, TV classics, and franchise appearances that continue to attract strong nostalgia-driven reaction audiences.
