Key findings from a teen driving study: Teen drivers spend ~20% of drive time distracted by phones. More than 3,000 Americans die annually in crashes involving distracted drivers. Teenagers (15–20) are involved in a higher percentage of fatal distracted driving crashes than adults. 58% of teen crashes involve some form of inattention (AAA study).
