Tehillim Taks - Psalm 18
from Torah Today Ministries · host Grant Luton
Psalm 18 is our first lengthy psalm (50 verses) and is traditionally called "The Song of David." It also has a lengthy introduction (21 words) and is the only psalm that is recorded twice in the Bible (here, and 2Samuel 22). But what is most unusual is that it claims to have been composed "on the day when Adonai delivered [David] from the hand ... of Saul." Yet we know that David wrote this psalm years after Saul's death. What is going on here?! Follow along in your Bible as we look into these matters. A blessing awaits! For more teachings by Grant Luton (and to print the notes), visit our website: https://www.TorahTodayMinistries.orgAnd when you visit, be sure to subscribe to our bi-weekly newsletter, which will keep you up to date with news, photos, and upcoming events at Torah Today Ministries.
