Tehran, Tolerance, Transformation: Dr. Sharon Nazarian

Dr. Sharon S. Nazarian is the President of the Y&S Nazarian Family Foundation and founder of the Younes & Soraya Nazarian Center for Israel Studies at UCLA. In 2017, she was appointed Senior Vice President for International Affairs at the ADL and served in the role for five years. Dr. Nazarian is on the boards of the Crown Center for Middle East Studies at Brandeis University, the West Coast Board of the American Society of the University of Haifa, and the National Democratic Institute’s Chairman’s Circle. A graduate of USC, she is a key figure in Nazarian Enterprises, a family investment office with diverse holdings across real estate, hospitality, technology, and clean energy. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three children.
