Tejada Joins Bearcats, Ready to Ignite

Cincinnati Bearcats secure a significant addition to their mens basketball team with the signing of forward Tyler Tejada, the 2025 Coastal Athletic Association Player of the Year. Hailing from Teaneck, New Jersey, Tejada brings a proven scoring ability, averaging 14.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in his college career. His junior year was particularly impressive, with 17.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Tejadas free-throw shooting at 88.2% last year could be a game-changer in close matches. With Calhoun building a new era at Fifth Third Arena, Tejada is set to elevate the squad, and fans are eager to see him light it up when the Bearcats tip off in November.
