Teju Adisa-Farrar is the founder and ecosystems director of the Black Fiber & Textile Network, an organization that is focused on teaching earth-based practices and selling earth-based clothing products. She is also the creator/host of the Black Material Geographies podcast and a 2025 Center for Craft Archive Fellow. Teju’s work centers on climate, cultural, and distributive justice by supporting regenerative practices and collaboration. She uses a global lens focusing on local and regional strategies that produce alternative economies at the community scale. Teju joins the show to discuss the initiatives of the Black Fiber & Textile Network, how what we wear may affect our health, and to also discuss various textile traditions.
