Depuis l’essor massif du télétravail, beaucoup passent désormais leurs journées assis, entre visioconférences, mails et repas devant l’écran. Une routine confortable en apparence… mais qui s’accompagne d’un risque réel : celui de la sédentarité, que l’OMS classe aujourd’hui parmi les principaux facteurs de mortalité dans le monde. En France, près d’un adulte sur deux reste assis plus de sept heures par jour. Et même une séance de sport en fin de journée ne suffit pas toujours à compenser ces longues heures d’immobilité.Les études sont formelles : rester assis plus de huit heures par jour augmente le risque de maladies cardiovasculaires, de diabète de type 2, de douleurs articulaires, mais aussi de troubles anxieux et dépressifs. Notre métabolisme ralentit, la circulation se freine, les muscles posturaux s’affaiblissent.Alors comment réagir quand on travaille depuis chez soi ? Premier réflexe : fractionner les périodes assises. Se lever toutes les 30 à 60 minutes, marcher quelques minutes, s’étirer, boire un verre d’eau. Varier les postures, aménager une station debout, intégrer de petites boucles de mouvement dans la journée. Une marche après le déjeuner, quelques minutes de mobilité le matin… des habitudes simples, mais précieuses.Les repères officiels rappellent aussi l’importance d’une activité physique régulière, douce ou soutenue, complétée par du renforcement musculaire.
