The iconic CBS production facility opened in the 1950s and has hosted an incredible list of shows — “Three’s Company,” “The Carol Burnett Show,” “All in the Family,” “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Family Feud,” “Dancing with the Stars,” and so many more. Now there’s serious chatter that the sprawling studio lot could be sold, with the current private owner battling heavy debt. What would they turn it into — condos? A hotel? That sounds like traffic Armageddon!   Meanwhile, we’ve got four teams left in the FIFA World Cup: England, France, Spain, and Argentina, so get ready for those national anthems — and yes, even Madonna has sung the Argentine one, ding-dong! Up in space, there’s talk of a giant “space mirror” satellite that could reflect sunlight back to Earth on demand. Closer to home, Paramount and Warner Bros. are threatening to pull out of California if Governor Newsom and AG Rob Bonta block their merger — we’ve gotta keep Hollywood in Hollywood!
