Gerry is a member of the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Regional Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center Advisory Panel and among other topics he addresses the recent March, 2023 CDC study which revealed that tick borne disease cases increased 25% from 2011 to 2019 with Babesiosis increasing significantly in New York, as well as  Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
