The defendant admits they were best friends and claims the money was a gift, not a loan. Then, The plaintiff says she and the defendant were both sober from drugs and alcohol when then met, but they both relapsed after they got married. The plaintiff says she’s been sober again for years, and she’s suing her ex-husband for the value of a car. The defendant admits they relapsed, but he says he’s off drugs.
