Integrado por: Presidente Tribunal Supremo (también preside el CGPJ) + 20 miembros nombrados por el Rey: 12 entre Jueces y Magistrados + 4 a propuesta del Congreso (mayoría 3/5, entre abogados y juristas) + 4 a propuesta del Senado (mayoría 3/5, entre abogados y juristas). En total los 20. Tribunal Supremo, órgano jurisdiccional superior. Presidente nombrado por el Rey, a propuesta del CGPJ. Ministerio Fiscal - misión promover la acción de la justicia en defensa de la legalidad, de los derechos de los ciudadanos y del interés público tutelado por la ley, de oficio o a petición de los interesados, así como velar por la independencia de los Tribunales y procurar ante éstos la satisfacción del interés social. Principios de unidad de actuación y dependencia jerárquica y con sujeción, en todo caso, a los de legalidad e imparcialidad. Ley ordinaria.
