Thiruparkadal Temple is a mythological site in Hindu cosmology. The name "Thiruparkadal" translates to the "Ocean of Milk" and is associated with the cosmic ocean where Lord Vishnu is believed to reside on the serpent Ananta (also called Adishesha). The "Thiruparkadal" is a spiritual concept described in various Hindu scriptures rather than a physical place or temple. However, temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu or representing his reclining form, such as in Thiruvananthapuram (Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple) or the Adi Kesava Perumal Temple, may symbolically represent the idea of Thiruparkadal in their iconography.
