Temporary Pain vs Eternal Glory

"I'm sorry for your loss, but she's in a better place now." For weeks after my wife passed, those words rang hollow. My pain was so great that I couldn't appreciate that Roz really was in a better place. My attention was fixed on the temporal rather than the eternal.Most emotional pain we feel after loss is like that -- fixated on the temporal.
