Temptation

In this powerful sermon, we're challenged to confront the nature of temptation in our lives. Drawing from the book of James, we learn that God, in His absolute holiness, never tempts us to evil. Instead, temptation arises when our own desires interact with external influences, often orchestrated by Satan. This process is likened to a life cycle - conception, birth, growth, and ultimately, death. However, the message doesn't leave us in despair. We're reminded that through Christ's sacrifice, symbolized in communion, we have the power to break this cycle. This insight invites us to examine our own desires, recognize Satan's tactics, and lean on God's forgiveness and strength to resist temptation. It's a call to spiritual awareness and growth, emphasizing that with God's help, we can overcome even our most deeply ingrained negative patterns. 📖 Follow us on social media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/blackhillscowboychurch/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bhcowboychurch/ Cowboy faith, Cowboy worship, and the Cowboy way of life!
