Father Father we thank you today we give you all the glory. Lord we exult your name for whom you have We lift up your name I Abubonins. We say thank you for all your words and your speaking to us all the one you speak to us also today. We thank you for the grace to receive of your word.
Thank you because you don't come in paribels but you come to speak to us direct in the language that we understand you. We don't take this for granted we say thank you to you the glory to you in the highest in the name of Jesus Christ. Spirit of the most I God we ask of you a grace to receive your word today whether it is bitter or sweet. We receive the grace to embrace your word to take your word into our hearts and let you do what's good.
We say open hearts for you all today in the name of Jesus Christ. In Jesus my name we pray. Amen. The topic today is 10 things you don't give up on but two.
Last week we look into three of them. That's the don't give up on God don't give up on doing good and don't give up on loving God. Today by the grace of God we look at sumo making five the fourth one says don't give up on seven gold and the fifth one says don't give up on yourself. Friends don't ever give up on seven keep your eyes on Jesus and not people.
People may fail you. People may disappoint you but Jesus will never disappoint you. People even the most trusted person to you can disappoint you. The person can fail you but God will never fail you.
Keep your eyes on Jesus. If you keep your eyes on Jesus you will never give up in seven gold. The Bible says in Hebrews chapter 12 verse 2 which says looking unto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith. Now another way I'm not giving up in seven gold is remember your reward is from good.
Even when no one claps or thanks you. God sees it all. In Colossians chapter 3 verse 23 verse 24 says what's ever you do? Work at eat with all your hearts.
As working for the Lord it is the Lord Christ you are saving. Remember is the Lord you are saving. You are not saving me. Your reward is from God.
He is the one that will reward you faithfully. Don't look on to me in seven in him. Always put it in the back of your mind that the reward of saving gold is from God himself. He is the one that rewards you.
Also feed your spirits. Stay in prayer in the world. You can set God on empty. No you cannot set God on empty.
Strines comes from intimacy with God. It was not to set God because you are not feeding your spirit. Because you are not staying in the place of prayer and the world in the world. If you are tearing the presence of God in the place of prayer and in the feeling of your self with the world of God you will find it very easy to set the Lord.
Another one in Isaiah chapter 40 verse chapter 1 the Bible says, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. Another way of saving God without giving hope is by staying connected to other believers. Isolation breeds weakness. But fellowship brings encouragement.
When you fellowship with brethren you get get encouraged. Hebrews chapter 10 verse 25 says, let us not neglect meeting together, but encourage one another. Don't let the kingdom say do forget or forsake the assembly of brethren. Come together to fellowship with brethren and you stay connected to other believers.
From there you will not give give up in saving God. Another one is remind yourself why you started. Keep reminding yourself every time why you started. Don't go to the moments to God call you and go back to your moment, brother.
God call you or touch your heartful. There's a particular time that God taught you. Do this for me. Remind yourself where you started from.
Do not forsake your first love towards him. Always remember the first love you afterwards. Remember we remember yourself how you started. This was starting point to give you points.
Not to give up on saving God. In 4 Samuel chapter 12 verse 24, the Bible says fear the Lord and saving faithfully. Consider what great things he has done for you. Consider what great things he has done for you.
Remember where you started from and keep feet. Keep on according to that or how you started. Another way of not getting under way rather or not giving up in saving God is you stay filled with the Holy Spirit. You can serve in the flesh for long.
You can try it for a while, but it cannot last long. You cannot serve God in the flesh for long. You need divine help. You need the help of the Holy Spirit.
After one verse eight days, you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. It is the only Spirit that gives you power. Without only Spirit upon you, you will be able to go far. You will get tired on the way and you will get frustrated in saving God.
But when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, he renews your strength daily. He extends up to you. You are divinely ex. And you will not find it difficult to save him.
Another way of not giving up in saving God is to understand that trials are part of the journey of life. Tries are part of the journey of life. Oppositions and actions are not signs for you to quit. They are signs to grow.
When opposition comes your way, use that stepping stone to your greatness to where you are going. The legends chapter is my say, let us not grow weary in doing good. For at the proper time in this season, we will reap it. Reap it.
If you faint notes, if you don't faint notes, if you don't faint rather, you will fully reap your harvest when you keep doing good. Please, I want to encourage you finally on this aspect that you don't set God to be seen. Take note of these. You are not saving God to be seen.
You set God because you are saved. You don't set to end love from somebody. You set from love because you love God. Even when it feels unnoticed, even when people don't see you, God themselves sees you.
He smiles at you. He smiles with you. He smiles with you rather. And he strengthens you.
So see that you are not saving anyone, but you are saving God. And the same God you save is sees you publicly and also sees you in the secret place, most especially in the secret place. The last one you want to look into now in the series, which is the fifth one, is don't give up on yourself. Philippians chapter one, the CC, being confident of this very thing that it would began a good work in you will completely complete it.
There are moments in life when we are tempted to give up. That's the truth. Not just on dreams, not just even on people, but we give up on ourselves. There are moments of search, maybe because of failure, maybe because of shame, maybe because of discouragement, and one way or the other, maybe because of depression, or even disappointment.
But God says, don't quit on yourself. Don't do such. God says, I haven't quit on you. Don't quit on yourself.
You are still a work in progress and God is still painting the masterpiece of your life. You are God's masterpiece. You are not a mistake at all. If you share the truth, the sense is for we are God's workmanship.
Even with your scars, even with your flaws, God calls you is work of hearts. Take note of this. You might not look like current chapter of your life, but the auto is still writing, writing, and still waiting and writing on your VR. God is not finished with you yet.
Philippians one six system of Philippians chapter, one basis is, he will be done a good work in you. We can't eat on to the path of completion. You may have messed up in life, but God never gives up on you. He finishes what is that.
Don't look at your pasts, don't look at what we have done wrong. Looking on to Jesus, looking on to the future, forget about the past, ask God for forgiveness, and move on to the future, infinite of the purpose of God for your life. Even Peter denied Jesus, but Jesus still built the church with him. Even with the name of Peter, he still built the church with him.
So even yourself, the way you are messed up, God can still build his church with you. I want to also tell you that God's message is greater than your mistakes. The Bible says in lamentations chapter 3 verse 22, 23, his message is at near every morning. Shem says you are finished, but Messi says today is your new beginning.
Shem can say you are done, but Messi says no to your past and it gives you a new beginning. Give it looks at what you did, what grace looks at what or who you can still become. Your future is the intent, my dear friends. Jeremiah chapter 29, that's 11 says, I know the plans I have for you, God speaking there.
Plans to give you a future and hope your current mess does not cancel your divine purpose. I want to tell you if you are still breathing, God is not done with you. I want to say a lot of speak life to yourself. Proverbs chapter 18 verse 21 says, live and dead are in the power of the tongue.
Sometimes the most dangerous voice is yours, your own voice. Stop or saying yourself, maybe through your thoughts, through your speech or your gesture or through your attitude. Don't cost yourself. Start declaring truths to yourself.
Don't speak the feats over your destiny. Don't ever do that. and the Lord God will help you in the name of Jesus Christ. In conclusion, you might feel tired, but don't give up on yourself.
God, as in everyone, as in, and there's more I had behind behind. There's more I had behind and than behind. I am still becoming, would God tell me to be telling to yourself? I will not quit.
I will not settle for less. I will not give up on myself. I want to pray this for an appropriate and tell it to God. Father, thank you that I am not alone.
I am not forgotten. Thank you because I am not finished. You are still with me and you will see me through the hand. When I feel I give up, remind me Lord of your promises and this is your promise will keep giving on, keeping me going in the name of Jesus.
Help me to hold on. So who you have called me to be in the name of Jesus Christ? Thank you, faithful Father. In Jesus, my name we have prayed.
