What this episode covers
The latest crisis of capitalism is intensifying as coronavirus continues to reek havoc on human life and break down the machinery of competitive accumulation. A mass wave of evictions is barrelling our way to unleash widespread suffering, unless the working class organizes and fights back. Join us as we speak with NYC-DSA organizers Hinde, Tiffany, and Alex on their efforts to build networks of mutual aid and community defense to prepare for the impending struggle against predatory landlords and their fascist goon squad, the NYPD. Later we’re joined by Ginger to hear about the struggle against her landlord’s illegal effort to evict her from her home. bit.ly/Defund4Aug20 -- Defund Onboarding Session, Tuesday at 7pm bit.ly/a22openhouse -- Antifascist Open House, August 22 [email protected] -- contact for QHWG www.change.org/p/housing-justice-for-ginger-ging-dwan-boyd
