Tennessee QB Battle Heats Up | Tennessee Volunteers Football News

Tennessee’s quarterback race for 2026 is heating up as Coach Josh Heupel sets the bar high: the winner must command the offense, protect the ball, and deliver to playmakers — no flukes allowed. True freshman Faizon Brandon and returning George MacIntyre are locked in for a brutal fall camp battle, with Heupel prioritizing game management and consistency over flashy stats. With past QBs like Joe Milton and Nico Iamaleava excelling in ball security, the new crop must prove they can lead under pressure. The Vols open their season Sept. 5 against Furman — and the QB spot could be decided before kickoff. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
