Alex Hövelmann, a producer, DJ an live act out of Cologne (Germany), started to the play the drums at the young age of four years. Today, his tracks get to be played by the likes of Acid Pauli at the famous festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. Inspired by the music of Christian Löffler, Kollektiv Turmstrasse or Olaf Arnalds, Alex Hövelmann’s music let’s you dream and dance at the same time: spheric, melancholic and dynamic sounds that are sometimes driving, sometimes soothing. Alex got our first attention thanks to his wonderful Interpretation of Christian Löffler’s “Haul” a few months back. His most recent productions have been released on Heidentoc Rec, Eisenwaren and trndmsk. Besides producing music, Alex organizes events such as the Garten Eden Festival in his hometown Cologne.
