Hi, I'm Megan Sagura. And I'm Eric J. Mac. And this is the Daily Dish Bravo's official podcast.
Well, I feel like a lot has happened since we last talked. There's a lot going on in the Bravo world right now. First of all, Danny Pellegrino, host of Everything Iconic Podcast, in front of our podcast, he's been on before. He mentioned us in his last episode.
Yes, he is a Bravo super fan. I'm sure you guys have heard of him, but if not, check out his podcast. He referenced us in an episode where he was recapping Vanderpump rules, and he mentioned the interview that you did with Jax, saying that he had a lot of thoughts and feelings about the way Jax was talking about Tom and Ariana. Which I get it.
A lot of people wrote me and said the same thing. But you're interviewing Ariana next week, and hopefully you can get her response to what was said on the Jax interview. I feel like it won't take too much asking to get out of her. Too much pride.
Yeah, I feel like she'll have some opinions about what he had to say. Fair. But the biggest news, of course, is that over the weekend, both Vicki Gumbelson and Tamara Judge announced on social media that they are retiring as Real Housewives. We are two Tracemigas down.
Yeah. I was pretty shocked at first, and then a little bit like, okay, so I was not shocked about Vicki because I just felt like everything that happened during that reunion and how just her attitude, I felt like she was done. Yeah. Tamara, I'm very upset about.
I love Tamara. Tamara has consistently been one of my favorite housewives. Well, and let's be real. I mean, however you may feel about Tamara as a fan, she really was the main pop star of this past season.
So she delivered for us, whether you like or not. I don't wonder if Shannon is feeling lonely now, not that we know if there's going to be another season, or if Shannon's coming back. But let's just assume she is for a second. Yeah.
That's got to feel weird because I feel like you sort of build these friendships that become alliances. Yeah. So now it's like, I mean, I guess according to the reunion couch layout, she has Gina on her side. True.
But it seems like she and Kelly didn't really end on good terms. Oh, not at all. You know, I'm not really sure about Emily and, you know, Bronwyn, but I don't know. Shannon must be feeling it.
Vicki's daughter also commented on her post about her leaving. Yes, she did. She said, quote, I'm not really a statement kind of girl, but I will say that it's very sad in the end of a wonderful journey for my mom. We've had a lot of fun as a family on the show, and I'm very proud of her and love her.
Her absence will be significant, and she will be very missed on the show. That's sweet. Yeah, that's really nice. I mean, Brianna, she's seen so much happen.
She's gone through so much on the show herself, and now she's sort of escaped to this quieter life in North Carolina, so she's probably actually really looking forward to Vicki getting a little bit of, you know, rest and relaxation. I feel like Brianna of all the kids has had the most complicated relationship with the show. Yeah. You know, like the whole thing about the Brooks drama, and then she grew up on the show for better or for worse.
Yeah. I found out about Vicki from my mom. I had gone to see Wicked on Friday night, and when I came out of the theater and turned my phone on, I had a whole series of text messages all about Vicki, and the first one I saw was my mom, and she said, is Vicki leaving the show? And I was like, oh, I need to do some investigating here, and it didn't take long for me to figure out that it was true.
Did your mom tell you I slid into her DMs? No. Did you? She responded to one of my stories, was you and me, and she was like, you guys are so cute, and I go, I love your son.
She would love to hear that. That's so cute. Yeah, we're bestie. Great.
Last but not least, we're going to be doing a little bonus episode for you guys, featuring John Thrasher from Martini's In Murder, which is a really great true crime podcast. We've had him on the show before, so you guys might remember that. But we're going to do a little deep dive into Real Housewives of Atlanta season five, episode seven and eight. Otherwise known as Gone With The Wind Fabulous episode.
Exactly. John is a big Kenya fan. He loves Real Housewives of Atlanta. In honor of Kenya coming back, we thought it'd be a really great time to have him come on and just geek out with us about it.
And Eric and I have been talking about doing this for a while, like just the idea of looking back at a specific episode and really going in on it and, you know, how to do you do it. And, you know, how things have changed. But so we want you guys to watch it ahead of time too. You can watch it now on the Bravo app and it's season five, episode seven and eight.
Okay, so what are we talking about today outside of all of these breaking news stories we have? Right. So Vanderpump Rules, Miami trip part one. And we have Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Still in the Hamptons. Yup. And Below Deck. Plus we have interviews with Sheena Shay and we're going to end with Rose and Thorn.
Vanderpump Rules episode starts. Kristen's like New House, New Me, just kidding. Here's a box of Carter stuff. And it also like ooh, that's not meant there.
It literally says important stuff. Like from Carter, it's like, come on. Like she hijacked that box. I know.
And then, you know, we find out she's left with Carter that morning. Right. You had sex. That never works.
This is not how you get over your ex. I also just don't understand the point. Why not just be together? You have a stuff, you sleep with them, just be together.
Right. Or if you really want to commit to the breakup, find someone else to have morning sex with. Ah, yes, that too. There's got to be plenty of eligible bachelors running around Los Angeles for her.
Well, look as a lady, I can tell you the dick you know. You know what I mean? I mean, yeah, I guess. You know, I mean, she didn't really want to have to worry about finding someone new.
She knew what she was going to get. She's like, why not? Yeah. I don't know, Kristen.
One thing I do want to point out is there is a new server guy who works at TomTom. JoJo, have you seen like the, there's been a couple scenes with him? Okay, yes. So I discovered him a long time ago.
As you know, I was stalking Brett on Instagram before the show started just, you know, because he's attractive. And I was like two Instagram accounts and one of them is literally called JoJo Twerks. And he's like known for being this like hot twerker guy. Is he here straight?
I'm pretty sure he's gay. It's like, it's not totally clear in his content, but as a twerker. Yeah. I'm just going to go out on a limb and say, I think he's on our side.
Honestly, it's not even okay to ask that question anymore. That's very true. We're on the spectrum. It's like, how do you identify?
Well, maybe there's a chance we'll get him on the show at some point. I don't know, we can ask, but he does go to my friend's gym in West Hollywood. He works at TomTom. Yeah.
Something tells me about just like where he lives and where he frequents. He's also a non-straight identifying person. So if we were to say which of us are you more likely to sleep with, the answer might be you. It might be, but I don't know.
Can I take one look at you and just be like, oh my God, what have I been missing? These two siblings. Okay, so fast forward, we get to Miami. Bachelorette Bachelorette is on.
I loved the burning was like, I've dreamt about this moment. My whole since I was a little girl. Is that the moment you dream of? I like to have my bachelor party.
I've been dreaming about this for all my life. I was hoping everything goes good. We're about to tear Miami. Yeah, I think as a little girl, I didn't know what a bachelorette party was.
And it certainly wasn't the penis lollipop situation it is right now. You know what I mean? Like when you're dreaming of that day. Yeah, I think when you're growing up, you do probably dream of getting married.
Yeah, for sure. And then all that. I think the bachelorette stuff comes like as you get older and then you're in your 20s and you're going out more and you're like, oh, I know how to party and I know how to plan a themed party. Can't wait till I have my own bachelorette.
But I don't think she was like eight years old dreaming about that. So I thought everything was going great and I loved they did the whole tacky, bridal dresses. Because I just think that's so fun. Yeah.
But then her meltdown over the cocktail waitresses bringing out the Brittany don't do it. My first thought was last season, Real Housewives of Jersey, Margaret going hit a nerve. Yes. Because obviously a nerve was struck.
You know, her whole thing was like this was they meant to do this. They mentioned bears me. I really do think they just do it for everyone. 100%.
Every bachelor and bachelor. It's the whole thing. It's like the last thing before you read. Like it's your last chance to get out.
Yeah. So it's like no, Brittany, like it's just what they do. But also, you're marrying Jack Taylor. Like this is going to come with the territory.
I mean, I'm sure she is overloaded every single day, people saying all sorts of things about Jack's. And I feel like it just built up and fueled by a little bit of alcohol too much partying. She was just like hit in the wrong way with that. But you know, everyone trying to comfort her after and like everyone's doing a really good job.
La la. Everyone was just like, no, it's not personal. She was like, don't take it so seriously. Kristen's the only one gasing her up over there.
I know. It's like let it go. We got to move on. Like, no.
Yeah. I mean, I'm not going to go back in her cage. Oh boy. I don't know.
On some level, of course, I understand when you love someone, you want everyone to love them. And she sees clearly in Jack's this great guy. And that's why she's marrying him and wants to have kids with him. But we've been watching him for longer than you've known in Brittany.
So we all have thoughts. I think a lot of people have preconceived notions about Jack's. Are they preconceived? Or are they just conceived?
They're pretty conceived. Just playing eight seasons. And I say that is a true Jack's lover. Exactly.
Right. I mean, I've, you know, there were some people commenting on social media in the last couple of weeks after your interview with Jack's and how we were talking about how we really like him. He's so nice when he comes in super polite, just so excited to be here. All of our experiences with him have been positive.
That's not the case, maybe, for a lot of the cast on the show. Yeah. I'm also not making the case for him being humanitarian of the year. I'm just saying he is great on Vanderpump Rules.
Yeah. Well, let's talk a little bit about how he claims there was no contact interaction whatsoever with any of the strippers. I don't think he remembers that any of that happened. True.
You know, like super inebriated. You're at a strip club and like someone recently told me you were dancing with that guy and I was like, what guy? Like, sometimes you just don't remember. That's true.
That is true. I'm not a fan of the club club, which were mostly only on a bachelorette party in Montreal. I remember them pretty specifically. Oh.
So I don't know. Yes, that one was, you know, pretty left quite a mark. But yeah, you know, Jack's I think is he's still trying to show that he is a new and changed man. And I think in that moment he was like, I'm just going to say that you know nothing happened.
I don't want strippers around, but it's like you liquor him up a little bit and still have other Jacks in there. Licker him up. Licker him up. Licker him up.
I don't even know her. We have to talk about bow coming to Stassi's defense. I'm kind of just pissed off about the text message. I mean, you were nasty to my girlfriend.
You were nasty to your friend. You sent a nasty text message. You should apologize for it in a better way than just coming into the hotel lobby and whatever you said there. I love bow.
What did you think? He did the perfect job. Yeah. Because I do a little bit believe in this idea of like, don't talk to my girlfriend that way.
And I've always had a problem with that on the show that I don't feel like the guys stick up enough for the girls. I would be livid if Aaron was okay with someone talking to me crazy. Yeah, of course. Abode did absolutely the right thing.
Yeah. Standing up for Stassi and we talked last week about whether it was, you know, probably mostly Tom's fault because of the way there was a miscommunication. It really wasn't up to Stassi. But going even further back and like a little bit deeper, I've seen a lot of people on social media talking about, you know, does Tom just not like Stassi and has he just never really liked Stassi?
I want 1000% believe that. Yeah. Go back to the season of us finding out Kristen slept with Jax. Sandoval was so pissed at Stassi for like, like, reaming her out.
Right. And she was like, you're insane that you're even upset with me right now. Your girlfriend fucked my boyfriend. Yeah.
Who's your best friend? I think he's always disliked her. I think he and Stassi are super similar. I think they both want to be the center of attention.
Yeah. Okay. I could see that. And that was like both of them being the center of attention when they were fighting in the middle of Tom Tom.
Sure was. And I think Stassi won. Yeah. She held the loudest and had the best insult.
You selfish, egotistical piece of shit. Like that was good. That was good. That was good.
My question is do you think Ariana likes Stassi? Last season it seemed like they were on a great track. Ariana was actually now likes Stassi at the reunion. But the whole like kind of being shady about her book and the airport.
Yeah. Sort of a level of just mutual respect with how far they've each come. But if they're friends, I don't know. So I sat down with Vanderpumprol's Sheena Shea.
She rated Brett Capriani's kissing style. She also revealed if she purposely hazed Dana and shares which servers she'd want to see if she had her own spin off show. Plus she answered some of your very own Bravo insider questions. You won't want to miss that.
Here's that interview. Well, we are here with someone that in my opinion does not even need an introduction. But since you guys can't see her, I'll have to give it. Sheena.
Hi. How are you? I'm going to talk about new season of Vanderpumprol's We Are Going. We have some new cast members.
I want to talk a little bit first about Brett because he claims you're a bad kisser. So how would you rate his kissing? Unmemorable. Ooh.
Okay. I literally I remember it happening. Don't remember any detail about it. Well, because I think you said it was kind of like a drunken whatever.
It was like 5 a.m. Like saying goodbye. It was nothing. Right.
Well, I mean, it's also like we've talked about it on the podcast. What qualifies a bad kisser? Right. Like everyone has a different opinion of what a good kiss versus a bad kiss is.
I mean, that's the first time I've ever heard that. And I had like 10 other people come to my defense. I mean, mostly all the girls on the show. I was going to say who was it from the show?
Ariana, Kristin. I was like all of that. Okay. La-la, Stasi.
The tribe has spoken then and he is incorrect about that. Absolutely. Okay, fair. So a lot of conversation has happened this season too with Max about, you know, the whole idea of being boy crazy.
But why is there this double standard where like guys can be into girls but girls into guys like where does this come from? I hate the double standard thing. And there was even, I mean, there was a much longer conversation him and I had and the first thing he said he goes, well, I mean, I'm girl crazy. Like it's not a bad thing.
I'm like, but you didn't say it in a positive way. Like, you know, she really likes attention or whatever. She's like, yeah, I mean, we all know she's boy crazy. And I'm like, okay, you know, in his defense, like not completely wrong, but coming from him.
It just, I felt like someone who I had a past with to just have a little more respect and not say things like that that came off as negative. Right. Well, and you also then come through with the receipts with like, these are all the things that you texted me. And so we kind of come to the conclusion that he's a bit of a f**k boy.
Yeah, that is who he became after me. Right. Right. And so he kind of admits it too.
You have like that conversation with him. So do you think we're starting to see him perhaps change his ways with Dana so far? Dana so far this season or? No.
Okay. Well, speaking of boys, I want to ask about the new relationship in your life. He is in the room with us. But hello.
So tell us a little bit more. Is he full time living in Australia or? No, he lives in San Diego. Okay.
And that's where we met. We just took a trip to Australia together. He was playing in the rugby nine world cup out there. Okay.
So it's like a bit of a long distance situation then. So two hours is long distance. But if you think about it, Marina Del Rey to like West Hollywood could be two hours in Russia. I was just going to say I'm going to give him where you live.
Like, do you guys spend any time in Palm Springs? Because I think you just recently bought a property there. Yeah. So we did Thanksgiving there for a few days and that was fun.
I try and be there every week. I'm actually going back on Friday to see Tyler Henry. He's like, seeing him wrong. So excited for that.
So between Marina Del Rey, San Diego and Palm Springs, I mean, I'm used to the two hour drive. It's nothing. Right. Yeah, that's true.
All right. Well, let's get a little bit into everything that's been going on with Dana so far this season. So I think we see you training her and I think there's a bit of maybe hazing going on. But is it sort of like a rite of passage because we saw that happen to you.
Exactly. I mean, it was just, you know, I wasn't going to do it to her, Brett and Charlie. But I had to pick one of the three to do the side work and it was the one I wasn't really vibing with. Right.
And so do you think that she's obviously receiving that, okay, well, somebody's going to have to do the side work and all that stuff. But I think there's an extra layer of complication with everything with Max. Right. And the thing is it had nothing to do with Max and everything to do with the fact that everyone's going to her comedy show and I'm like, I had to show in Vegas and most people didn't come to that.
So it had zero to do with Max. Interesting. That's hard to explain. So it had a little bit more to do with like other friends too.
Yeah. It was a lot bigger than what's being shown. Yeah. Yeah.
When he was like a guy, you're the best friend of this person. There's like one after another and I'm like, can you get your own life and like stop taking people out of mine? I see that. But it was not a jealousy thing with Max.
I love Max to death. He's a very good friend of mine. He was not someone I would set up with any of my friends. Fair.
But I'm just like, Girl, trust me, I don't want him. You do, you do, you do, him. I'm good. You mentioned her comedy show.
What did you think about her stand up? The little bit I saw I thought was funny. Yeah, it was good. Right?
Yeah. And she actually has a show at the end of this month that I'm going to go to because I haven't seen her live yet. dark towards the end, but I like that little dark humor. She has that dark, dry humor.
So it's like if you've got that, then it's hilarious. Yeah, totally. We talk about a little bit how she's not wearing a bra, and it bothers you. So I don't have boobs.
I don't know the experience that you go through. But is it because it's Dana, or is it just like, you're like, where a bra? No, where a bra. I mean, back in the day, I remember Stossing and Kristen would never wear a bra with a Santa page dress.
And I'm like, where a bra? The material is so thin. It's see-through. And also, like Charlie said, hired to have and hired the tips.
Like, push those babies out. I mean, I'm all about bras and push-up bras and padded bras. So just looking, I'm like, but you see it. And there was a photo posted on Instagram.
And there were so many comments about you could see her nipples. And I know nipples are in. My little sister tells me that all the time. But not when you're serving food.
That's true. I mean, it's a better business thing to have them up. Yeah. Yeah.
But she has great boobs. So I'll give her that. We see the girls just went on a trip to Utah. It was like a trip with Stossy.
Yeah. How did you find out about that? Because you were not invited. I saw it on Instagram.
So that was the first time you saw about it, too. Why do you think they didn't invite you? I don't know. I love them all.
And we're all cool. And we're friends. We're not the closest, necessarily. But they have their click.
And I kind of feel like I guess Ariana, Kristin, and I kind of have ours, and Brittany's in the middle, and Dana's kind of in the middle. And yeah. But I mean, also with friend groups, you don't have to be invited on every trip. I don't invite every single one of my friends over every Tuesday night to watch the show.
And I've kind of gotten that same thing. Are you mad at me? You didn't invite me over. And I'm like, because I invited 10 other people.
I didn't know I had to invite you to everything I do. So I get it. And I couldn't have won anyways. So do you think that there is sort of like a layer of competition in the friend group between different women?
I think there always has been. Yeah. I don't think that's ever going to change. A lot of us have very similar interests and career goals.
Some are doing about it than others. But I think there is always going to be that competitive factor with us. Yeah. Being in the spotlight for as long as you have been, do you feel there's also a pressure as a woman to change your appearance?
I mean, you see so many of the people on our shows doing all sorts of different procedures and that kind of stuff. Do you feel that pressure in your life? It's not necessarily a pressure, more of a preference. I mean, I don't like my face to move on camera or in life.
So I've been doing Botox for almost a decade now. That's not something that anyone has pressured me into doing, something I wanted to do. I just plumped up my lips a little bit because I was watching the beginning of the season. I was like, my lips were a little fuller than I kind of liked that.
But I don't feel any pressure. It's just personal preference. And I like to stick needles in my face sometimes. Well, it's like you moisturize.
You wash your face. You do all these things. It's just like a little Botox here in the air. I didn't hurt anybody.
I mean, I'm dating a guy who's 29. So I got to keep up with him. Right. So in this episode that we just saw, Kristen says to Lala that she doesn't want to be single because it sounds like she's single and ready to mingle.
Oh, I was. Oh, so is being single and not ready to mingle? I think that's where Kristen is getting caught up. That's the thing with myself.
I had been single from like 19 to 25. And then there was Shay, Rob, and then single. Whatever. That doesn't count.
But I had many years of being single. Whereas Kristen, I've known her for a decade. She's never been single longer than she is right now. So I think just as an adult, she didn't know how to be on her own.
But now, as you'll see as the season goes on, she bought her first home. I think she's really coming into her own and being more of an independent woman. And I think that's going to be really interesting to see because you've never seen that. Yeah.
Well, even in this episode, I think she's like moving into her new house. But then there's suddenly a box that says like, Carter, important stuff. And you're like, OK. And then she's like, we had sex this morning.
This is not being single, Kristen. But the thing is, you know what? It's her life. And some of the girls get so bothered by her choices.
But I'm like, it doesn't affect your life personally. If you're sick of hearing her bitch about it, I understand that. Then you can distance yourself. But at the end of the day, whatever makes Kristen happy makes me happy.
And if Carter's not making her happy, then she needs to make that decision on her own. Yeah, no, that's very true. And that's kind of what we've been talking about in the podcast, too, is that why is everyone so upset about this? Because it's like Kristen's journey.
So as friends, you should kind of be there to support her. And by the way, you can give her advice and be like break up with him, break up with him. But you have to kind of show up as a friend. And I don't think anybody's really been doing that for her.
No, I feel like Kristen and I get treated differently than maybe Brittany and Lala. And relationships in different situations. Certain girls are more sensitive to others than they are with Kristen and I. But I think that's even one of the things that has kept Kristen and I so close for so long.
Like, definitely we've all had our ups and downs. Every single person on the show, except for Brittany. Everyone is always up. Brittany, she's amazing.
But we've all had our ups and downs. But at the end of the day, we all love each other. And we all come back together. And it's just this crazy world that there's nothing normal about what we do.
I mean, filming, reliving, watching, judging. It's just there's nothing normal about it. But I think it just keeps us so close. And we know that this show wouldn't be possible without any of us.
We all bring something so different to it. Totally. Whose relationship over the last eight seasons? Whose relationship have you seen changed the most?
Ooh. I definitely think Jackson Brittany have grown a lot as a couple after that season of him being a bad boy. But Tom and Ariana, I just want to say, has always been my couple's goals from their friendship, blossoming into them buying a house together. It's just they've grown and matured so much in their relationship.
And they don't have to get married. They don't have to have kids. They may change their mind one day. But regardless, it's like that's a relationship that I'm like couple's goals.
Yeah, I agree. Yeah. Going back to Jackson Brittany for a second. In the most recent episode, you guys are on the Bachelor at Bachelor Party.
And that sign comes out. Brittany, don't do it. What was it like being in that room with her freaking out? After having such a great night, you guys are having so much fun.
And then it went left. We were all kind of in shock because I'm like, we're all putting ourselves in your position. I'm like, I would not have been upset about that. It's just a funny thing they do.
And one of the girls with us was like, oh, my friends were just at this exact club last week, and they did the same thing. They do it for everyone. I think Brittany felt like it was a personal thing. And they knew her past.
And we're like telling them. And I was like, no, they literally say that to everyone. It's like, how do they do it? It's just like it's the same thing they say to everyone on the sign.
But I felt so bad because for her, it just brought back that past trauma. And she was just like, but everyone should be happy. It's not that. But that was her weekend.
So whatever we needed to do to console her and just be like, we got it, we understand. And I was like, what they didn't finish. Yeah. Yeah.
These are gentlemen. Yeah. That was a great job. We had a good time.
What if there was a Vanderpump Rules Vegas spinoff? I tried to pitch that two years ago. They missed so much good content when I was out there. I mean, single Shina in Vegas doing a show.
Like, that was a life-changing experience for me. And I am so sad that not even one second was ever able to be shown of that. Right. So what would it be?
Give us like a quick pitch right now. Your dream Vegas spinoff. Ooh, I think it would be with James Kennedy as well. I would love to have him have a resident DJ job for myself to be headlining in a show to maybe have the crossover with Vanderpump Cocktail.
But I think there is just so much in Vegas that could happen on a show. But I kind of feel like we missed the boat on that. I'm not single Shina in Vegas anymore. That was the fun crazy that you would have wanted to see.
But I still think there could be something interesting there if you throw in like James and a couple other people. OK. Well, what could have been? I mean, I guess we'll never know.
All right, to wrap up, we have a couple questions from our Bravo Insiders. OK. So Nicole wants to know, as a fellow early 30s divorce woman, it is sometimes hard to not let that failure define you. How have you allowed the divorce to become a learning experience?
I learned to never settle. And nothing against Shay at the time. He was my best friend and that was what I saw forever. But there were a lot of red flags I ignored.
And so even in my relationship now, it's so unfair to my amazing boyfriend that I have passed trauma. And if I see, I have automatically thought that because Shay did these things, every other guy is going to do these things. And it's kind of messing me up mentally and emotionally a little bit. But I've learned from it.
I've grown from it. And I just know things to look out for and what I deserve and just not to settle. OK. The second part of that question was, are the anniversary dates wedding engagement especially hard?
No. It's just another day on the calendar. I mean, last year on what would have been my wedding anniversary, I sent Shay a bit. Mojim, we both had a good laugh.
Oh my god. So yeah, so it kind of takes time to move on from that. And then the dates just become right away. Totally.
It's just another date. OK, that's fair. All right, Nicole, that's the answer to your question. We have Alithia S says, have you had any contact with Brandy Glanville?
Not since my last watch What Happens When She Tweeted at Something Untrae. There's the answer to that question. Colleen W wants to know, what is the secret to making your famous enchiladas so good? Well, I can't tell you.
And I get back in Azusa. OK. So it's not something that other people can replicate. Interesting.
Yeah. OK, well Colleen, you've got to go find that. All right, thank you so much. Thank you.
We really appreciate it. Yeah. Thanks for coming. Always fun to be here.
So Real Housewives of New Jersey. We open up right back where we left off in the middle of this fight that started between Jennifer and Jackie and seemed to end between Jennifer and Melissa. As it has happened before. Yes, with lots of knives throwing, plates throwing, something throwing.
My complaint, not just about Jennifer, but just in general Dolores and Theresa and that whole interaction of them getting upset with Melissa, is that they're focusing on the semantics of what Melissa said instead of the main point. Her main point was, yeah, we like big parties and stuff. Like, I'm admitting that. We are throwing away money when we do that versus someone who is saving.
But like, they just take this literal sentence. You just call me a loser. You said my kids aren't going to be OK. OK, she really, come on.
That's not what she's saying at all. She's not trying to insult anybody. She's trying to make a point about Jackie. And it's sort of like the fallout is what they're holding onto, which is kind of unnecessary.
It's like that's not the point of what she was trying to say at all. At all. I love that Marge was just concerned about her food. She was like, wait a minute.
Can I get my salad to go? The food hasn't come yet. What's happening here? I just want to eat.
Yeah. Speaking of food, I'm glad that Jackie was able to speak her piece to Marge about the eating disorder thing, because Marge is trying to own up to what she said. And she's like, look, you don't eat. And it's just like you could see the fury of Jackie being like, don't ever say I don't eat, because you don't know where I was.
What are you talking? Don't say you don't notice that I don't eat. Don't say that. I'm not saying it in me way.
By the way, I say that totally. I understand. I just say it a whole thing of chib me. I won't believe you drank two beers before my Yawon came out.
Don't say I don't know. Nothing you don't eat. And I just felt like a flashback to Jules Wayne's name and the house of New York, because I feel that eating disorders, it's so different from a drug addiction or alcoholism in that you have to eat. You're faced with that every day.
Yes. And three times a day. And with people at restaurants and whereas with alcohol, you can just say no. You have to say yes.
And then it's like, how much? And then it's like everyone's watching how you're dealing with it. Yeah. I mean, Jackie's talked about it on the podcast before.
In her interview last week, we talked about it a little bit. It's crazy, because in that moment, I don't think we've ever seen Jackie have such an emotional reaction to something. We've never really seen Jackie cry like that. So you can tell it's coming from this real genuine authentic place.
And it's something that she does struggle with every day. And for someone like Margaret to talk about it the way she did, I think she was just really offended and hurt by it. As someone who's her friend. So I was glad to see her be able to speak on it that way and for Margaret to kind of understand the severity of what she had said.
So glad you're doing better, Jackie. So they get back to the house. And Teresa is a little bit floating through this argument, kind of figuring out who's side she's on, whether she wants to stay or leave, who was being out of place, and who was it. I was like, Teresa, come on.
How an opinion. That's yours. She seems so easily influenced by almost the loudest one in the room. Instead of just being comfortable saying, you know what?
I don't really have skin in the game. Either way. Either way. Well, because Melissa's like, you should have stuck by me.
I'm your sister-in-law. She threw the thing at me. Why are you going to Jennifer's side? And Teresa's just sort of like, well, let me see what's going on.
And then she's kind of seeing, oh, Jennifer, you're leaving. And then Jennifer's like, well, Melissa, this about you. She's like, well, let me go check with Melissa. I was like, oh my god.
Yeah. Just stay out of it then, all right? Stay out of it. And let Jennifer leave.
And actually, I thought, Jennifer leaving fine. Delores going with her so dramatic. Do you think Delores just wanted to leave, in general? Why would she want to leave?
I don't know. It's the Hamptons. It's a beautiful house. Yeah.
Yeah, I don't know. She wanted to go have a Green Apple martini with Frank. OK, that was my favorite part of this episode. Just the revelation that Frank, this huge, muffly guy drinks Green Apple martinis.
And don't go light on the puckers. Right. Don't go light on the. What can I get to, Frank?
I want a Green Apple martini to go light on the puckers. Extra puckers? I think I can do that. Apple martini.
I mean, it's so funny for him to make that order. And then shortly thereafter, he's making these remarks about men being the men of the house and the women should be playing. I'm like, you are sitting on a Green Apple martini, bro. Like, what are you doing?
You're talking about being the man of the house over here. Come on. I also felt bad for the waitress, because it's just like, these three guys all coming at her. And she's just like, oh.
She handled it well, though. She really did, because you know that she's working for those tips. She's like, but I don't know. I would just be like, come on.
They're like, where's your shot? She's like, no, not tonight, guys. Weirdly, I'm working. I have a theory that I want to run by you.
Theresa sex with Tony the poo guy. Based on what? Based on the picture she had in her camera roll of him shirtless. I couldn't tell if it was recent or not.
It was recent. I paused it. It wasn't like it was on his Instagram or on his Facebook. It was in her camera roll in her photos.
So he had sent to that picture. And someone even said something to Margaret or somebody said something to her like, did he send that to you? And she's like, well, yeah, but we're friends. That's weird.
Oh my god. Did he send that to you? Yeah, but it seems like he. No, I don't know.
I have a lot of guy friends. They don't send me that. This is making me uncomfortable for some reason. What?
It's a reason. I'm not opposed to that happening. I'm very pro-sexing. I think if someone had scrolled a few photos over.
We would have seen a lot more. We would have seen a lot more of the poo guy. Who would have seen his? His post.
I was like, what are you? Your is pool stick. What do you use to clean up all that? Pool stick.
