We are learning Spanish with the Ukrainian folk tale "The Mitten" as retold by Jan Brett in this term of Jump Into Spanish (Term 1B). Jump in the fun with us! Today's words are: las púas | (lahs POOH-ahs) | the spikes, points, barbs el búho | (ehl BOOH-oh) | the owl el alboroto | (ehl ahl-boh-ROH-toh) | the racket, commotion, uproar, fuss, disturbance el destello | (ehl deh-STEH-yoh) | the glimmer, hint, flash las garras | (lahs GAH-rahs) | the claws Make sure you find a picture or come up with an action to represent each word. THEN, as you repeat each word after me, make sure you are also pointing to the picture or saying the word out loud.
