We are learning Spanish with the Ukrainian folk tale "The Mitten" as retold by Jan Brett in this term of Jump Into Spanish (Term 1B). Jump in the fun with us! Today's words are: el aire | (ehl ah-EE-reh) | the air las direcciones | (lahs dee-rehk-see-OH-nehs) | the directions el regreso | (ehl reh-GREH-soh) | the return la distancia | (lah dee-STAHN-see-ah) | the distance el cielo | (ehl see-EH-loh) | the sky, heavens Make sure you find a picture or come up with an action to represent each word. THEN, as you repeat each word after me, make sure you are also pointing to the picture or saying the word out loud. This helps your brain really think in Spanish instead of translating from English to Spanish.
