Terps Dominate with Historic Shutout | Maryland Terrapins Football News

Maryland crushed Hampton 62-0 in a statement-opening win, showcasing a revamped offense and a suffocating defense. The Terps racked up over 600 yards, led by a breakout ground game with six rushing touchdowns—including a 94-yard TD from DeJuan Williams—and solid contributions from backups. Quarterback Malik Washington settled in after a shaky start, throwing a TD and using his legs. Defensively, they dominated with five sacks (including two from DD Holmes), forced turnovers, and shut down Hampton’s entire offense—marking Maryland’s first shutout since 2022. It was a perfect debut for the young roster and a promising sign of things to come. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
