Terps Rebuild WR Room with Transfers | Maryland Terrapins Football News

Maryland’s wide receiver corps is completely overhauled after a disastrous 2023 season that saw them drop 39 passes—most in the nation—and derail freshman QB Malik Washington. With key veterans gone, the spotlight turns to transfer stars Na’eem Gladding (600+ yards, 6 TDs) and Chris Durr Jr. (480+ yards), while Kaleb Webb emerges as the new No. 1 target with his big-play ability. Speedsters Ryan Manning and Justin DeVaughn, plus junior-college standout Ejani Shakir and towering red-zone threat Jordan Scott, add depth. And don’t sleep on the incoming recruits—Zymear Smith, Jayden Kitchens, and Josiah Teasley could be future stars. The Terps need chemistry fast to make Washington look like a superstar.
