Terrapins Turnaround or Another Fall | Maryland Terrapins Football News

Maryland’s 2026 season is set up for a potential turnaround, with a modest five-and-a-half-win projection after a brutal 2025. Despite only four wins overall and just one in conference play, the Terps return 14 starters — the most in the nation — and boast a favorable Big Ten schedule. Freshman QB Malik Washington showed promise last year, and with a revamped offensive line and new wideouts, the offense could finally click. The defense, bolstered by a top recruit and loaded with talent, also looks poised to improve. With plenty of young players now gaining experience, Maryland could start strong — maybe even going 4-0 — setting them up to hit their win total. But caution remains: they’ve missed projections for three straight years, and the market sees this as a coin flip. Experts are split — some think they’ll exceed expectations, others doubt they can break through. This could be the season that either proves Maryland’s resurgence or confirms their struggles continue. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
