Kimberly Dowell and Ethan Dixon were found shot in a parked car at Muncie’s Westside Park in September 1985. The Indiana teenagers’ deaths generated witnesses, competing theories and evidence that never produced a straightforward answer. Terrifying & True revisits the night of the murders, the Volkswagen where they were discovered, and the leads that drew investigators in different directions. Suspicion and later claims are weighed against what the record supports. What happened inside that car—and which overlooked detail might explain it? We're telling that story tonight.
