Terry Meiners interviews Gary Burbank (2007)

On the day of his 2007 retirement from WLW in Cincinnati, Gary Burbank did a long form interview with Terry Meiners on WHAS.  Burbank hosted the afternoon show on WHAS from 1976-80 before he left for WLW.Gary retold stories from his incredible career and talks mechanics of great radio. Burbank made a zillion friends along the road of his radio career, but still loves Louisville as the city the solidified his unique genius.Burbank remains a hero to radio talent all across America.(It was a thrill to speak with Gary on his retirement day, and on hundreds of calls since then. He remains my favorite radio buddy of all time!)
