Testing Testing.... - Episode 001 of the Inconsistency Club

from Know Thyself Podcast - formally Inconsistency Club · host Jenny Fjurns-Giles - Freedom Rising

*Not around kids ears 🎅🏼* Hello and welcome to the first ever Inconsistency Club Podcast Episode.WooHoo! This one is a total spontaneous riff with the ever quizzical Tom Harper of Tom Harper Photography. A great friend and current 'Minecraft husband'! We always have amazing chats talking about a whole host of things and this conversation is just a small snippet of that. We decided to just record this chat (about 2 mins after we started, whoops) and see what flowed, so it's not polished, it hasn't got any fancy intro's and outtro's, It is what it is, and it's the perfect example of the random stuff we get up to. We were looking at "Signs & Symbols - An illustrated guide to their origins and meanings" and it started a whole discussion on magic, feminism, balance, spiritual existence and more. We hope you like our chat and I'm very sure he will be a regular on this Podcast and I on his - 'Hearts On Fire', when he actually sets it up since the name came through as we were talking! Haha. Thank you for listening. Welcome to the Inconsistency Club Embrace Your Paradoxical, Multifaceted, Dual - Human/Spiritual experience. About the Podcast At the Inconsistency Club, we believe in celebrating the beautifully messy, ever-evolving journey of living a spiritual and evolved human life. Hosted by Jenny Giles, the Creative Rebel, our podcast invites you to explore the profound world of personal growth, spirituality, and self-discovery through candid, no-nonsense conversations and discussions. Our Motto "Showing up where we can, when we can, how we can! No pressure, no judgement, just knowing we are doing the best we can in any given moment." The Inconsistency Club PhilosophyIn a world that often pressures us to conform to rigid routines that demand consistency at all costs, we rebel against this outdated paradigm. We understand that change is the only constant in life and the Universe, and as spiritual beings navigating the human experience, we choose to embrace a life of balance. Giving Permission to Embrace Inconsistency We give ourselves and others PERMISSION to not be consistent. We are always in 'flow' with the universe and life's cycles and rhythms. When we try to force a routine out of old, outdated systems and structures, we go against our natural flow, which in turn leads us to feel unfulfilled and frustrated. What We Stand For Authenticity: We value raw, vulnerable, unfiltered conversations that reflect the ebb and flow of life. Love and Compassion: Our discussions are rooted in love, compassion, and understanding. We are a judgement free zone. No Spiritual Bypassing: We don't sidestep the challenges of life with empty/toxic positivity. Instead, we dive deep into shadows of the human experience and come out knowing ourselves deeper than before. Acceptance: We embrace both our shining moments and our off days as integral parts of our journey. It’s all about balancing the spiritual and the human experience.  Why Listen? Join us on a journey of self-exploration and spiritual growth where you'll find: Real Conversations: We get real with ourselves and our guests, exploring the depths of the human and spiritual experience. Emotional Freedom: Discover how self-acceptance and compassion can lead to personal transformation. Empowerment: Learn to show up in your life with love and acceptance, leading to more - yes we see the irony - consistent and meaningful growth. Join the Inconsistency Club The Inconsistency Club was founded in September 2023. We invite you to celebrate your dual nature as a spiritual being residing in a human body.
