Texas Rep. Carl Sherman
from The Trey Blocker Show Hosted by The Trey Blocker Show
Freshman State Representative Carl Sherman has been called “one of the most promising leaders of the 21st century.” You’ll laugh out loud hearing Rep. Sherman tell stories about the two businesses he started… before he was ten! When he was five he sold art to classmates, and when he was nine he started Captain Coolz- a burger joint in a basement that soon became a neighborhood favorite! Rep. Sherman has gone from entrepreneur to dedicated public servant. He serves in every facet of his community- as a pastor and government official. Hear him talk passionately about prison reform- the biggest issue he is tackling in his first session as a Texas legislator. This is an episode we know you are going to enjoy!
