Texas Senate passes bill requiring the Ten Commandments in public school classrooms

In what its authors hope will become an example to other states, a bill that would require every public school classroom in Texas to display a copy of the Ten Commandments took its next step toward becoming law this week. As one might expect, it’s been met with a good deal of controversy. Should Christians support the idea? Would it make a difference?
