Texas Slim is the founder of The Beef Initiative, a trade group dedicated to improving the quality of our food via direct market access and sound money. Slim was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle, where his grandfather stewarded the land he grew up on. He resides on the Llano Estacado, the Caprock of the Texas Panhandle, The Desert High Plains, and the end of the breadbasket.
