Texas Stuns No 1 Ohio State | Durham News

Texas pulled off the biggest fourth-quarter comeback in college football history, rallying from a 20-point deficit to stun No. 1 Ohio State 24-23. Arch Manning delivered clutch throws and legs, including a game-sealing touchdown pass and a late-game drive capped by Hollywood Smothers’ one-yard plunge. A missed 45-yard field goal by Ohio State’s Connor Hawkins proved pivotal, and Manning credited his team’s relentless culture for never giving up. The win marks a career-defining moment for Manning under pressure, a major boost for coach Steve Sarkisian, and a stunning collapse for Ohio State, who dominated early but couldn’t close it out despite Jeremiah Smith’s big day.
