Texas Twilight

It occurred to me, as I was expanding the themes for the original "Twilight", that in 20 something years, I had never created a song, for, about, etc my home state : Texas. and every since I first set a voice to that opening theme of that song with a fender driven guitar--that sound and that theme has reminded me of what it felt like to grow up here, before my state lost its mind, when people here really and nearly always cared about each other, when the nights were crisp and the twilight was "wide" and intense as the day blazed out across the dimming horizon and then cooled into a million stars. So I hope this version brings some of that time and sentiment back... brings back the Texas I knew and loved so long long ago...
