Texas Veterans Commission chair calls for Memorial Day moment of remembrance

AUSTIN — Ahead of Memorial Day, the Texas Veterans Commission is encouraging Texans to pause and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Texas is home to more than 1.5 million veterans and thousands of family members who carry the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
