Texas vs UCLA Rematch Set | Texas Longhorns Basketball News

Texas women’s basketball is getting a fast-paced rematch with UCLA—first in an exhibition on October 25th, then again in December at the Players Era Women’s Showcase. This rivalry is heating up after UCLA knocked them out in the Final Four, despite Texas having beaten them earlier that season. Both teams are drastically different now: Texas lost key players to the transfer portal and is relying on a young, fresh roster led by All-American Madison Booker, who struggled in their last meeting. UCLA, meanwhile, saw star Lauren Betts head to the WNBA and is rebuilding through new recruits and transfers. Three games in two years? That’s college hoops intensity.
