Tf Weekly Pod are joined by George Caulkin of the Times and True Faith editor Michael Martin to discuss the success or failure of Newcastle United's transfer window for Summer 2015. They discuss what needed to be done at the end of last season how the club have performed in the period since then. The Northern Sports Correspondent and a native of the region, George has covered North East football for The Times since 1998, in which time he has reported on (too) much controversy, a fair bit of excitement, a great deal of mediocrity and the lifting of precisely one trophy (the League Cup with Middlesbrough in 2004). He collaborated with Sir Bobby Robson on the book ‘Newcastle - My Kind of Toon’ in the final months of the former England manager’s life and is a Patron of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
